Sometimes when I open word, the nly thing that appears is the top bar. I then
have to click the maximize button. I am using 2007.
Can someone help me with this?

It would appear that your Normal (restored down) window has been resized to
show only the menu bar. Use the mouse to resize it, then quit Word. When you
restart, it should retain the size you set.

Thanks, Suzanne, but that didn't work. Any other ideas?

I tried as you directed. When I closed and reopened Word, it did the same
thing (only bar at the top).

Thanks
