Default Inserting Template Fields

I would like to create a template (e.g. a diploma) that when used would ask
for me to fill in the name of the recipient and the day, month and year of
the award. I have the Microsoft book, Step By Step for Office Word 2007, but
can't seem to find the instructions on how to create these fill-in template
fields.

Default Inserting Template Fields

Click on the Office (Pizza) button and on the bottom border onf the dialog,
click on the Word Options item and then the Popular category, check the box
against "Show Developer tab in a Ribbon"

When you do that, you can insert the type of controls that you need from the
Controls section of the Ribbon.
