Outline Numbered Styles Changing
I am going to cross-post this to another group, so apologies in advance if
you read both. I created a document template in Word 2007 (on XP Pro) that employs an outline-style numbering, as follows: 1 Heading1 1.1 Heading2 1.1.1 Heading3 Body Text, based on no style, and no numbering 1.1 Body Text 2, based on Heading2, not bold 1.1.1 Body Text 3, based on Heading3, not bold I wrote the document, no problem. Now, when I open the document to` edit it, my Body Text styles have all been modified to use the numbering format, but with the plain Body Text style starting at Level 2. I used the Template Organizer to copy the styles from the original template, and the numbering has been removed from all the styles. If I open the template, the styles are numbered or not, as I originally specified. Can anybody explain this behavior? janet |

No apologies would be necessary if you actually cross-posted. What you have
done, however, is multi-post (posted separately to more than one NG). If you include both NGs in the header of a single post, then readers will not see the duplicate post in the second NG they read. -- Suzanne S.
