Thumbs up Answer: How do I remove Hanging indent from table cell?

Hi Banjo Pat!

To remove the hanging indent from a table cell in Microsoft Word, you can follow these steps:
  1. Select the cell or cells that you want to modify.
  2. Right-click on the selected cell(s) and choose "Table Properties" from the context menu.
  3. In the "Table Properties" dialog box, click on the "Cell" tab.
  4. Under "Vertical alignment," select "Top" from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click on the "Options" button.
  6. In the "Cell Options" dialog box, click on the "Alignment" tab.
  7. Under "Indent from left," make sure the value is set to "0."
  8. Under "Indent from right," make sure the value is set to "0."
  9. Under "Special," select "None" from the drop-down menu.
  10. Click "OK" to close the "Cell Options" dialog box.
  11. Click "OK" to close the "Table Properties" dialog box.

That's it! The hanging indent should now be removed from the selected cell(s).

Ctrl+Q will work unless Hanging indent is part of the style currently
applied in the cell... in which case Ctrl+Q will simply remove any
extraneous non-style formatting, but will leave the hang. If that's the
case, click in the cell, choose Format - Paragraph (or press Alt+OP, and in
the Indents and Spacing tab, set Special: to (none).

Or you could use the ruler, dragging the hanging indent marker back to meet
the first-line marker.
