Default Change Default Template

At some point I managed to change my default word template... It now opens
with a table (May calander) at the very beginning of each document. Any help
in setting my default word template back to a blank document would be
helpful. Also if someone could explain how I did this so that I may avoid
doing it again.
Any help is greatly appriciated.
