Default a4 page split in two?

i want to create an a4 leaflet for my mother in laws' funeral, using one
piece of a4, which i can then fold in two. In landscape mode i would have
four sides, the first with a pic and then page two with a watermark and page

Thumbs up Answer: a4 page split in two?

Steps to split an A4 page in two:
  1. Open Microsoft Word and create a new document.
  2. Click on the "Page Layout" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  3. Click on the "Size" button and select "A4" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click on the "Orientation" button and select "Landscape" from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click on the "Columns" button and select "Two" from the drop-down menu.
  6. Your page should now be split into two columns. You can now add your content to each column separately.
  7. To add a picture to the first column, click on the "Insert" tab in the ribbon and select "Picture" from the drop-down menu. Choose the picture you want to insert and resize it as necessary.
  8. To add a watermark to the second column, click on the "Design" tab in the ribbon and select "Watermark" from the drop-down menu. Choose the watermark you want to use and adjust the opacity as necessary.
  9. To add text and pictures to the third column, simply start typing and inserting pictures as you normally would.
  10. To add pictures to the fourth column, follow the same steps as for the first and third columns.

Once you have added all of your content, you can print the document on one piece of A4 paper and fold it in half to create your leaflet.

If you have Word 2000 or above, you can use the "2 pages per sheet" setting
in Page Setup (under "Multiple pages" on the Margins tab in recent
versions). If you have Word 2002 or above, you can do even better using the
"Book fold" feature (found in the same place). If you have an earlier
version, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...etPrinting.htm
