I need to convert per metre square as follows, 200m2
Hi. could someone please assist with the following.
I would like to know how I type R200m2 with the 2 after the m being the small 2 as in per metre squared. |

I need to convert per metre square as follows, 200m2
Several ways:
1. Format the 2 as superscript, select the 2, Format, Font Superscript, or press Shft+Ctrl+= 2. Add the 2 as a symbol, Insert, Symbol, (normal text), "superscript two" is between the Plus/Minus and superscript 3 symbols, and has the code Alt+0179. -- The above is for 2003 and prior, for 2007 instructions may differ but hopefully this will indicate the right direction. In 2007 1. works as before though The mouse driven superscript is in the
Fonts group of the Home tab. Alt+0179 (on the numeric keypad) will also work if the character is included in the font. Perhaps I should have added that the superscripted 2 character is ALT+0178
(ALT+0179 is a superscripted 3 character). Either way it is not quite the same as a 2 with the superscript font attribute. Graham, thanks for catching the code error (3 instead of 2), I have the 3
selected and forgot to change the selection :-( I understand the difference between the symbol and superscripting the digit, I tend to use the symbols instead of superscripting, they come across better in the printed document. And you can get "real" subs and supes for the rest of the numbers in
