Default Word 2003 - PDFs - Palm Treo

I saved a Word 2003 document (mostly Word tables) in PDF format so a
colleague could view remotely. I thought he was using a laptop but it turned
out to be his tiny Palm Treo. He said it did not view nicely at all. Is
there a special way I need to save a Word 2003 document that has tables so he
can view it properly through his Treo?

Did he explain what he meant by "did not display nicely"? Beauty is in the
eye of the beholder...
