Default Is it possible to centre a graphic?

The troubleshooter under "Arranging, aligining and distributing graphics"
reads "You can also align one or more drawing objects relative to the entire
page".

The funny thing is, it doesn't say how! Any suggestions?

On the Format Picture dialog, Layout tab, select the Alignment radio button
and then choose "Centred" and "Page", respectively, from the two dropdowns.
Do for both horizontal and vertical alignment.

This is extremely unobvious and unnecessarily complicated in both Word and
Publisher. In order to center something (horizontally or vertically)
relative to the page, you must first choose Draw | Align or Distribute |
Relative to Page, upon which the menu closes. Then you must open the menu
again and choose Align Center and then *again* to Align Middle.

If your graphic is the only thing in your document (or section), you may
find it easier to leave it In Line With Text. You can then use the paragraph
centering command(Ctrl+E) to center it horizontally and choose Vertical
alignment: Center on the Layout tab of File | Page Setup.
