Default Locking a form page

I'm not sure the subject line clearly defines my problem, so here
goes....

I created a report template for my own use. The template uses several
form fields in which I enter information.

The problem: When I'm done filling in all the fields of the report, I
need to put it into a format that I can e-mail to somebody without the
fields being visible. I've been 99% successful, in that I am able to
get rid of the grey shading and the grey boxes around the fields. But
no matter what I've tried, when I bring up the report again, there is
always at least one form showing its "scroll" box or its "enter text"
box.

So how do I lock this thing down and convert it to a plain old report?
This is a time sensitive question, as I need to get my report in right
away. Does anybody have a quick answer?

Thank you all very much!

Use Ctrl+A to select everything in the document and then Ctrl+Shift+F9 to
unlink the fields. You will probably need to unprotect the form first.

Hope this helps.
