EnvelopeExtra1 on a network?
You could put it in an add-in template and share the startup folder - but
you would still have to point all users to that startup folder. or If users are using shared letterhead templates to create the documents - put the autotext in the letterhead template that the letters will be created from. or The best solution in my opinion is to give them a shared envelope template with the logo already placed and create new envelopes from that. There are some samples to download from my web site, with code based on http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm This means abandoning the envelope/labels wizard for producing envelopes. You may find http://www.gmayor.com/Alternative_Return_Addresses.htm useful? -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org DieSpammersDie wrote: Hello all. I have a network where all of the users are on Word 2003. We have recently decided to add a logo to the return address and would like to have all of the users use the logo return address. However, rather than go to each workstation and update the EnvelopeExtra1, is there a way we can update the network template folder so that only one EnvelopeExtra1 gets added to the network and everyone automatically uses it when printing a return address? We already have a network shared template folder where all of the workstations have access to the templates. Thanks in advance for any help. |
