Default XML Task Pane?

i think i had same problem today trying to find it manually. Goto
View-Toolbars-Word XML toolbox... then one of the toolbar icons in that new
toolbar has a Blue icon (right next to the words XML toolbox). click that and
should show up on right pane. U r talking about that right side pane for
schema/XML structure right?

What version of Office do you have? Not all SKUs of Office 2003 include XML;
see http://www.microsoft.com/office/edit...y/compare.mspx

Default XML Task Pane?

Hi Suzanne,

Welllll g, to clarify - all versions of Office 2003 do include XML support (both with WordProcessingML (Save as XML with MS's set
schema) and the Word 'save as web page' variant g, but for Word 2003 only the 'standalone' and 'professional/enterprise' editions
support the ability to use custom schemas as described in the link you mentioned.

In subsequent exploration, I haven't figured out how to display the XML task
pane, either, and I have Office Pro.
