Default error message for column sum

Trying to total the figures in a table column using formatted Text Form
Fields. Ive done this successfully before, using the methods below, but this
time Im getting word voodoo.

Used fomula "=SUM(ABOVE)" to total column, get "D18 Is Not In Table" error.

Tried AutoSum, got "!Unexpected End of Formula"

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Alan

Hi ?B?b2xkIHNwaWNl?=,

hard to say... I guess the first thing I'd consider is whether the table
structures might be damaged. If you create an entirely new table, preferably
"above" this one (but not adjacent), does it behave any differently?

If you still see the same problem, how about in a new document?

Or, rename Normal.dot to NormalOLD.dot, start Word and test in the new document
you get from the "clean" Normal.dot Word will generate.

(Note: you can copy cell content, but don't try to copy entire cells or rows, as
that could carry damaged structures with it.)
