Default the cursor is in middle of page, on left, won't move

When I start to type, the cursor is on the left in the middle of the page,
and when I type and hit print , it prints out in the middle of the page
instead of starting at the top-how can I get the cursor back to the top?

On the Layout tab of Page Setup, make sure that the vertical alignment is
set to Top.
