Default Paragraph and space markings in Word 2003

Is it possible to display paragraph and space markings in grey, rather than
in black text on Word 2003 for the PC? This is a feature of Office for the
Mac which I fondly remember.

Unfortunately, no; this is just one of the differences between Windows and
Mac versions of Word.
