Default label template not recognised as such...

.....to take advantage of the 'label update' icon. I have a couple problems
Insering Address Block creates spaces and wraps to the next line when it
shouldn't and doesn't remove the space if the cell in the source data is
blank, like this:

M E plc
1 At this place
space
City Name
Postcode

I use both 2007 and 2003 versions
Thanks

Don't use the Address Block. Rather, insert the individual merge fields
that you want to use in the configuration that you want them.

To avoid the blank spaces, you may need to use and If...then...Else field
construction. It is a commonly asked question in these newsgroups, so if
you browse through some of the other posts, you should be able to find out
how to do it.

Hope this helps.
