Hyperlinks should print in same format as surrounding text
When printing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations it is not always
practical or desirable to print Hyperlinks as a different colour and underlined. Although easy to rectify when only a small number of link exists, it is very time consuming when a document contains many links. An option to print hyperlinks in the same format as surrounding text would be useful to allow documents containing links to be printed in a clean format. The electronic version would still have the links underlined etc so users in this medium maintain the advantage of being able to identify and click (or avoid clicking!) a link. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. You can set the desired format of hyperlinks by modifying the Hyperlink and
FollowedHyperlink character styles in Word. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "wattsmi" wrote: When printing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations it is not always practical or desirable to print Hyperlinks as a different colour and underlined.
