strange Word 2007 behavior. Does everyones do this?
If I have a couple word Docs open, but minimized, and I open another Word
Doc, when I close or minimise the one one I just opened, the docs that were open but minimized, are no longer minimised. Theyare all open and stacked up behind the one I just closed. Every time I close a word doc, I have to minimize every other word document I have open. Does everyones do this or is it just me? I have office 2007 SP1 and all teh latest patches installed? Please reply GB |

I find that only one of the minimized documents gets restored. I presume
that you're opening by double-clicking a document in Windows Explorer (or an Outlook attachment, etc.). It's as if the system first needs to activate the most recently used Word window, then launch the document from there. But, again, for me, it's only that one other window that's restored. The balance remain minimized. -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word 2007 Bible Blog: http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com Web: http://www.herbtyson.com "gb4" wrote in message ...
