change File (drop down menu) to more than just last 4 documents
I would like to be able to view my previous 10 or 20 documents that I worked
on in Word. Currently, the drop down menu for File only provides me with the last 4 documents referenced, created or viewed in Word. Is there any way to increase that (hopefully "default") number (of 4) so as to allow me greater "historical" view of which (many) previous documents I used in Word? |

Up to Word 2003 the maximum number is 9 (Tools options general
recently used file list) Word 2007 will allow many more - I believe 50 if your screen resolution will accommodate that number. All your recent files are dated in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\username\Recent -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org NYCatNYC wrote: I would like to be able to view my previous 10 or 20 documents that I worked on in Word.
