Default The cursor goes ouside of the margin settngs.

Upon opening a new document, the cursor goes to the very top edge of the
document and when entering text, it goes to the right edge and bottom edge.
I've reset the default layout settings and rebooted and each new document
does the same. Word worked fine after installation and began doing this on
its own. How do I get the cursor to recognize the margin settings?

See http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/WhiteSpace.htm for an explanation of
how an errant click has done this to you.
