My hyperlink text dissappears as soon as I type it.
I have word 2003. I have a letter that I have added a web address link to,
but as soon as I type a web address the hyperlink is there but the text address is gone. If I control click the hyperlink the text appears but when I email the document to someone or save and close the document the text to the web address disappears again. I tried the show formatting symbol suggested in another thread but that did not help. Any ideas? |

If you are seeing the field code, for example
{ HYPERLINK "http://www.a_company.com" }, instead of the hyperlinked text, press Alt+F9 to hide field codes. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "marsha9999" wrote: I have word 2003.
