i have recently loaded Word 2003 for work. I was using Word 2000 and used a
service invoice. to compute the totals of the invoice i would hit Alt+5 and
then F9.

however, with the new Word 2003, the function key does not work. My invoice
still highlights when i hit Alt + F5, but nothing happens when i hit F9. Can
anybody help me?

What did Alt-F5 do? To select all, hit CTRL-A.

The default assignment of Alt+F5 is "Restore the program window size."
