Actually creating an AutoText instead of AutoCorrect might be better in this
case. Type out Walla'nonbreakingspace'Walla. Select it and press ALT+F3. Name it Walla -- Greg Maxey/Word MVP See: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tips.htm For some helpful tips using Word. How can I allow Outlook to accept repeated words like Walla Wa
Thanks for trying to help! It would allow WallaWalla but I would still have
to go back and correct it to Walla Walla. Again, Thanks for trying! RAD "Greg Maxey" wrote: Actually creating an AutoText instead of AutoCorrect might be better in this case. How can I allow Outlook to accept repeated words like Walla Wa
If you type Walla"Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar"Walla
It will appear as Walla Walla. Select that, press ALT+F3 and name the autotext entry Walla. When you type Walla and the autocomplete tip appears press enter. Walla Walla will be entered and there is nothing you need to fix. -- Greg Maxey/Word MVP See: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tips.htm For some helpful tips using Word. Could be worse. You could be selling back to back tape for wall to wall
carpeting door to door. "RAD" wrote in message ... Word in Outlook keeps alerting me that names like Walla Walla are repeated. I live in WW and need to use the name frequently. How do I program Word so that it will allow selected "repeated" words? |

How can I allow Outlook to accept repeated words like Walla Walla
Two problems with this:
1. Back-to-back and wall-to-wall (as adjectives) would be hyphenated. ("Door to door" is used adverbially, so is not hyphenated.) 2. Word's grammar checker won't flag either of these since the words are not "repeated" (back back, wall wall, door door). -- Suzanne S.
