I have a form that includes a numeric field for a telephone number. However
when the number is input and I move to another field it looses its leading
zero. How can I stop this happening? I want the field to be numeric because
I am export the field to a numeric field in an Access database.

The leading zero will get stripped off in the database. If you want it
retained in the database, you will have to make the field there a text field
and then you can do the same in Word.
