Default Cross References

I am trying to make a cross reference to a "title" in my document, but the
tool will only allow me to cross reference to "headings". I could change the
titles to "level one" headings, but I like how they look. Is there any way to
reference these or possibly change the level one heading style to look like
the titles (larger text with a line across the page)? Thanks.

You can certainly modify any of the built-in heading styles (see
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/styl...fyAStyle.html), and there are
good reasons for using them (see
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numb...ngStyles.html), but
you can also bookmark any text or paragraph and cross-reference it using the
bookmark.
