Default Updated Text

I have phrases in my document that sometimes need updating. I know that I
can do a search and replace. But is there a way that I can do some type of
link so that when I type a change to a title or phrase one time, all other
linked instances of the title or phrase will be updated? I hope I'm being
clear! Thanks in advance.
