Default How do I get this off?

I messed up setting, I'm not even sure what I did and now I have a little
symbol that appears everyime I hit enter or anything. Also when you type
instead of just a blank space, there's a dot in between everything.
Everything shows up normal when you print it, but I can't figure out how to
get this stuff off!. Please help. Here's a screen shot of what it does.

Hit the ¶ button in your toolbar. But you may want to read
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/NonPrintChars.htm before you do.
