Default Putting Menu bar and Formatting toolbar on different lines

I have Word 2003. I would like to put the Menu toolbar and the Formatting
toolbar on different lines. How do I do this?

Thank you.

Hi jfg

Tools Customize. On the Options tab, tick the first box "Show Standard and
Formatting toolbars on two rows".

While you're there, tick the box that says "Always show full menus".
Microsoft's so-called "adaptive" menus, which only show you the commands you
already know exist, generally confuse people (something Microsoft has
acknowledged in their development of the user interface for Word 2007).

Hope this helps.
