Default Multiple Headers word 2007

How do I create multiple headers in one document? I want continuous text in
document but headers to change.

Please do not multipost. Still sounds like a homework question, but...

Depends on how you want the headers to change. You might choose a
different first-page header, or different odd/even page headers, or use
styleref fields, or use conditional page fields.

Sorry about multiple posts. Didn't see more specific "page layout" forum.
The headers need to change sometimes from page to page depending on how long
the questioning was by the lawyer. I also need to keep the page numbers in
the header in addition to changing header text. Example: Mr. Smith - Direct
2 and then Mr. Smith - Cross 3. Can you help?

You might be able to use a styleref field in the header to pick up "Mr.
Smith - Direct" or "Mr. Smith - Cross" from the text, but I don't know
of a way to make the page numbers show up like you want.

Hmmm... on second thought, maybe I don't understand how you want the
page numbers to show up. Do you want the page numbers to be continuous
from the beginning to the end, or do you want "Mr. Smith - Direct 1"
"Mr. Smith - Direct 2" "Mr. Smith - Cross 1" "Mr. Smith - Cross 2"? I
was thinking the latter. But if you want the former, then that just
takes a styleref field and a page number field.
