Default Print Preview changes margins

-- Today, my Word 2002 Print Preview suddenly changed the margins I had set
up
in two new original documents. And it printed just as it said it would.
I've typed letters before and nothing like this happened. In Preview, the
View Ruler has scrunched nearly together; adjusting that did nothing to my
text. Tried old letters from My Documents and they worked fine. Can someone
help me? Thanks.

Does the document contain comments or tracked changes?

Afraid I don't know what that means. Just a simple note with graphics (gifs)
above the letter. Tried removing the graphics and the Print Preview still
squeezes the note.
