Default how do i get accents in Word.

How do I get accents in Word. I am unable to use ALT + x, where X is the
ASCII code for the accent.

for example ç = ALT + 135.

though, it doesn't work on Word

In addition to the article referenced by garfield-n-odie, note that you must
press Alt+0135 (on the numeric keypad only, not the number row of the main
keyboad). Or you can use Word's built-in keyboard shortcuts, such as Ctrl+,
c, for ç.
