Default Agreement Document

I rec'd an agreement document which I need to edit. The document will not
allow me to change anything, for example: the date on the agreement (within
the body of the doc) needs to be corrected, when I click on the line where
the date is, the cursor will automatically go to a specific line where I can
make changes (but not the line I need to make changes). It seems that the
document is formatted to allow changes to specific areas only. How can I get
to edit this doc?

Tools Unprotect. You might need a password. Failing that, convert it to
PDF and back. The result will not be locked, but the format might be a bit
messy.

I did convert it to pdf and it worked. Although it was a lot of
re-formatting work...but better than typing the whole document. Thanks for
your advise...it was very helpful!!!

Default Agreement Document

Actually, forms protection is easily removed by using Insert | File to
insert the form document into a new Blank Document.
