Default Data entry dialogue form

I am trying to set up a series of dialogue boxes as a front end to a word
document template asking the operator to fill in information for the letter.
As the data comes from a completly independant (secure) source on another
screen they cannot copy the data across but I would prefer to use a separate
series of dialogue screens so I can use the labels of the fields in the
second system.

I could also streamline the process somewhat if I could set the 1st screen
to ask for an account number to allow it to look up some of the data from an
SQL database i.e. the name and address.

Only when the last screen is completed and they press a "Done" button would
it display the completed letter for printing. I have seen this done with
WordPro without any programming, is this function available in Word. The
second feature is not essential as I haven't exported the names and addresses
yet.

You won't do it without programming. For the basics, see Word MVP FAQ -

for a more in depth explanation, see
