Mac v. PC insert PDF
on my Mac at home I can insert PDF from the Insert menu, just as I could a
jpeg or gif. Is there a version of Word for PC that I can upgrade to where I can insert the PDF in the same way? Thanks. |

If you have Acrobat Reader version 7 installed, you can insert a one page
PDF as an object. As objects cannot span pages, multiple page PDFs only display the first page. There is no converter to allow Word to read PDFs. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Morgan wrote: on my Mac at home I can insert PDF from the Insert menu, just as I could a jpeg or gif. Is there a version of Word for PC that has a way to insert a PDF rather than
as a whole page, as a PDF picture on the page? "Graham Mayor" wrote: If you have Acrobat Reader version 7 installed, you can insert a one page PDF as an object. The only way to insert PDFs is as I have already described. An alternative
approach would be to use SnagIt to grab the PDF and to output it to another graphics format. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Morgan wrote: Is there a version of Word for PC that has a way to insert a PDF rather than as a whole page, as a PDF picture on the page?
