How can I lock a drawing object on a page, so it cannot be moved
I am making a template to print out CD labels, the sheets I have are not
brand names, so I cant select a label type. I have drawn a circle and cross hairs on a word doc. at the exac place for the text/picture to go, but sometimes the circle moves, I need it to be fixed in relation to the margins of the page. Thanks |

You can't 'lock' anything to a page in Word because Word does not have any
concept of 'page' for puroses other that your visual conceptualization. This is a subject thoroughly & repeatedly discussed within the newsgroups. Use the Search feature if you need more information, but the bottom line is that you would be better off doing any graphic/label design work - no matter how basic - in a program designed for that purpose rather than a *word* processing program. You can try VersionTracker or Google, as there are some available as freeware or very inexpensive shareware. Good Luck |:) "Gordy" wrote: I am making a template to print out CD labels, the sheets I have are not brand names, so I cant select a label type.
