Default what is a document grid

I suddenly had 4, 1/2 boxes appear in my document in each corner. Each
corner displays 2 lines, vertical and horizontal, in the shape of a partial
box. It happened when I copied a file from my laptop to my desktop.

I have followed the only Microsoft doc I could find about this. I turned
off text boundaries, I made sure my languages were only set to English and I
still have these shapes. I've tried everything from document grid in
File-Page-Setup to turning off different views to get rid of this. It's now
blocking my margins on each page - I can't type above or below them. I can't
find anything under margins about this.

Help! Thanks!

See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=839371 "Margin marks or
crop marks appear on each corner of the page when you open a
document in Word 2002 or in Word 2003".

Thanks, garfield-n-odie! I have already tried the information in that
document and I still have the problem. My frustration grows...thanks for
responding anyway!
