Default weird error

Word 2003 part of office 2003

When I try to open a file with the word "inbox" in it I get this message

"Inbox is not a valid Simple File Web Page"

Then word stops with a blank page

In fact, the file is a simple text file that I can open with any other
word processor or text editor. Why does word have a "thing" about it? It
is the inbox from Netscape mail and is in simple text format.

I'm sure it's the word "inbox" that screws word up.

Is there a way to make it stop that?

thanks

John

Never mind... found the answer on the net.

Go to Options/general and click "Confirm conversion at Open" Then
instead of just guessing what kind of document it is word asks.
