Thumbs up Answer: widow/orphan control mean?

Widow/Orphan control is a feature in Microsoft Word that helps to ensure that the last line of a paragraph is not left alone at the top of a page (widow) or the first line of a paragraph is not left alone at the bottom of a page (orphan).

Here's how to enable Widow/Orphan control in Word:
  1. Open your Word document.
  2. Click on the "Page Layout" tab in the ribbon.
  3. Click on the small arrow in the bottom right corner of the "Paragraph" section to open the Paragraph dialog box.
  4. Click on the "Line and Page Breaks" tab.
  5. Check the box next to "Widow/Orphan control."
  6. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Once you have enabled Widow/Orphan control, Word will automatically adjust the spacing of your paragraphs to prevent widows and orphans from occurring. This can help to improve the overall appearance and readability of your document.
