Setting up a word database
Hi, I am trying to set up a master file in word that is linked to another
file. I would like the master file to get updated with the information from the the other file. For eg. if the master contains members of staff details and a new member joins their details get updated on to the master copy. Is this possible to do automaticaly if so can you tell me how. Thanks. |

No, there's certainly nothing in Word that supports this kind of database functionality. It would be possible to program it (macros), but if what you're doing is more than a very simple table, the project would be non-trivial.
