Make the em dash a "break" character for text selection
When working with sentences€”like this one€”that use em dashes to set off a
phrase, text selection can be dificult. For example, trying to select "like this one" by clicking right before "like" and dragging the cursor across the phrase results in the following being selected instead: "sentences€”like this one€”that". An em dash should be treated as a separate unit for this operation, rather than as part of a big word glued together by the em dash. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
