Default Jumbled text

When typing in Word, a word that is typed correctly will change itself on
occasion. it is not the keyboard (this has been changed) and it is not the
typist. The computer has been scanned multiple times with NAV and no viruses
or trojans are found.

also, the mouse cursor flashes as i type sometimes. any suggestions on what
controls the mouse cursor.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Deus ex machina?

You really need to provide a bit more information than that. At what point
does the word change? -- as you type? -- five minutes later? -- next time
you open the document? What does it change into?

The "mouse cursor" is controlled by a) your hand, b) your hardware, and c)
the software running at the time.

Most likely an ill-advised AutoCorrect entry.
