Default file open location
Select Tools Options File Locations tab. In the list, click €śDocuments€ť,
then click the Modify button. In the dialog box that opens, browse to the folder you want as the default folder. Click OK twice. -- Regards Lene Fredborg DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "Chap" wrote: Can I change the default file open location? |

Thanks. I'm looking for the setting in Word 2007 though. I should have
specified. Sorry about that. "Lene Fredborg" wrote: Select Tools Options File Locations tab. In the list, click €śDocuments€ť, then click the Modify button. Hi Chap,
You can use Office Button=Word Options=Save (Alt, T, O, S) to change the default files location in Word 2007. ============== "Chap" wrote in message ... Thanks. Default file open location
This is exactly what I was looking for, for Word 2003. I was able to
accomplish the same end result in PowerPoint (Tools | Options | Save) and Excel (Tools | Options | General) "Lene Fredborg" wrote: Select Tools Options File Locations tab.
