Default edit document contain pictures in headr&footer will increase sizev

why when i edit a winword document that contains inserted JPG pictures in
the header & footer the size of the document increased 3 or 4 times?

why when i edit a winword document that contains inserted JPG pictures in
the header & footer the size of the document increased 3 or 4 times?

The document's internal structures may be damaged.

If you copy/paste everything EXCEPT the last paragraph mark into a new
document, then recreate the headers and footers, do you see different
behavior in the new document?
