Default Sending Attachment within Word

I have a customer who is trying to send a document within Word. Customer
selects File/Send To/Mail Recipient (As Attachment). Outlook opens, the file
being attached is visible, she selects a valid recipient. When she clicks
Send nothing happens. If she presses Alt-S the attachment is sent.
I can remote into her workstation and if I click Send it goes right away.
She can click on Send several times and nothing happens.
Anyone here of this? She is left handed. All other mouse clicking activity
is normal.

Does your customer normally use Outlook for her email program?

I have this same problem on my pc. Though I am right handed! I'd be very
interested in a fix if there is one. It's probably a bug though as there is
no error message.

I use Outlook as my mail default and the system is a work computer kept up
to date which SPs that are pushed out to my machine. I also keep outlook
open all the time. I find that a shutdown (not restart) will fix this error
but if I stay logged in for 2 days or more it will appear again on the second
day until I shutdown again.

Also if I click the save button on the email and then close it, it appears
in my Inbox (unsent) and I can dbl click it and send from there with no
difficulty.
