Default deleting TOC links

I have a 300 page word doc with a working table of contents. I have broken
this doc down into separate .pdf docs (for web purposes), but now I need to
convert the text only of the TOC into a .pdf doc. I don't want to maintain
the TOC links in the new pdf doc. Short of retyping a 12 page table of
contents, how can I do away with the TOC links before converting?
Thanx - David

I would select the TOC and press Control Shift F9. That removes the links
while keeping the text.
