Guessing that this is Word 2007 and the "banner" is what Word calls the
"ribbon"... Press Ctrl+F1 -or- Double-click any tab (the words "Home", "Insert", etc.) -or- Right-click any tab and click "Minimize the Ribbon" to turn it off. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. charles arnett wrote: My wife has a document in which the banner is hide and she doesn't know how to make it appear and stay?
