Can't find Normal.dot
I am using Office 2000 (under Windows XP Home). When I open any new document
the document window shows up with garbage characters in the document. These characters are always the same, the letters qwerty. It looks to me like somebody typed these in a document and somehow saved it under Normal.dot. I thought I could solve the problem by deleting the Normal.dot file and letting Word renew it. However I cannot locate Normal.dot anywhere on my computer. Any ideas? Con Giacomini |
