insert, symbol, wrong symbol comes up
This is in Word 2003(11.5604.5606).
When the user clicks on Insert, symbol and selects a right arrow in "Recently used symbols" a lower case "a" with a dot on top comes up instead of a right arrow. The character code is 224. To the left of the character code the screen reads WP Iconic SymbolsA:00E0. The From: box is Symbol (decimal). How can I make the correct symbol appear in the document? |

Sounds like the user doesn't have the WP Iconic Symbols font installed on
the computer where this is happening. Try using an arrow from a different font, such as Wingdings 3. -- Suzanne S.
