Default Can't cancel e-mail in Word

I have done this before and never figured out how to fix it. I accidentally
selected the option to send a document that I have open in Word via e-mail to
someone. So Word puts in a whole section at the top so now the top of
mydocument is the Outlook message header. I didn't want that to begin with,
but I have no way of cancelling the e-mail. There is a workaround: hit Send
and put myself in the To box. Is that the only way to cancel? To just send
it to some address anyway ?

Thanks,

Natelle

If you are using 2002 or 2003 -- Click the "e-mail" button in Word. Looks
like a little envelope on the toolbar.

Tine,

Thank you. I see it's a toggle button. That worked...
