Default Save a Word Document as PDF???

I have heard that there was a way to save a Microsoft Word Document as a
Portable Document Format file that Adobe Reader 6.0 can understand. How
does one go about doing that?

There is no way to do this from Word. You need third party software such as
Acrobat or one of the cheaper clones.
